Sound Journeys for End of Life

bridging two worlds with healing sounds

Compassionate sound journeys for the dying and their families can be a profoundly comforting experience, offering peaceful support for this natural transition in life.

Gentle sounds can soothe the mind, calm the nervous system, promote deep rest, alleviate loneliness, and create a sacred space for grief, reflection, connection and letting go. When we die, our sense of hearing is often the last one to go when all other senses have faded; therefore, sound can be a wonderful and safe companion during these final stages of our physical existence.

Your sound journey can be shared in many different ways. Below are just a few:

  • At bedside, in care facilities, at funerals and memorial services

  • For the dying, those with a life-threatening illness, accompanying families and friends

  • In person and online (via Zoom)

  • Duration of a sound journey: 30-45min

  • The sound instruments typically include: Himalayan singing bowls, chimes and/or gong

  • Facilitator’s travel within Castlemaine VIC/AUS (longer trips incur an additional cost)

  • Recommended minimum contribution for a basic (*) sound journey: $250

Let’s have a chat about what a sound journey might look like for you.

(*) A ‘basic’ sound journey consists of a 30-minute, in-person event held locally in Castlemaine VIC. It does not include extra costs incurring from travel to more distant locations, sound amplification equipment, online set-ups, or other arrangements.
