  • Yoga nidras sound healing: In this 'yogic sleep' technique that is rooted in ancient yogic traditions, you will rest profoundly between waking and dreaming states, whilst listening to healing sounds. This helps rewire old habit patterns due to stress and promotes inner peace.

A few words about the magic of the sounds

The soundscapes that you hear include Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, shamanic drums, gongs, chimes, percussion, monochord and vocals.

Most soundtracks are between 40-60 minutes long to allow for a balanced nervous system response. However, you may wish to listen to them for shorter periods of time and still get many benefits of them.

The purpose of sound healing is to bring you on a deep meditative journey, where you listen with your whole body and experience all emotions, sensations and feelings in a safe, natural and gentle way. You may find yourself drifting off to a state of half awake/half asleep, which is perfect. Let your innate ability to heal be activated and allow your intuition and subconscious mind to guide you on the journey. Many of the soundscapes include frequencies in the alpha-theta range, binaural beats, and brainwave entrainment, which are associated with reduced stress levels, deep relaxation, re-balancing of the nervous system, and improved heart rate and breathing patterns. If possible, wear headphones for best audio quality, although this is not essential.

All soundscapes and vocals played and sung by Nina Hakamies. If collaborative partners have been present, this is acknowledged separately in each track.
