Would you like to organise a class, workshop, or a full program for your teams? Our workplace offerings include mindfulness and stress release, yoga, meditation, sound journeys and breathwork. Sessions can be tailored to your needs and they can be held in-house, online, or at The Sanctuary in Barkers Creek VIC. See below some of our most popular offerings:
Lunchtime Mindfulness
This is our most popular workplace offering: a short weekly, 15-minute mindfulness meditation, which a wonderful way to promote personal energy renewal and to bring continuity and inspiration to personal practice. It allows staff to take a small break during the work day without compromising other professional priorities. Each week has a specific theme, which makes it relevant and applicable to the workday and offers an opportunity for direct personal experience using the ‘done with you’ approach. Sessions are usually held online (via Zoom). Send us a message and let’s have a chat.
Mindfulness Workshops and Programs
A longer mindfulness workshop or a full program is an effective way to dive deeper into the world of mindfulness and to support staff wellbeing and stress release in the body and the mind. Longer workshops and programs promote greater balance, flow and relaxation for the individual and the teams, and the benefits often extend beyond professional life to the many demands of everyday living. Duration of workshops range from 60 minutes (one-off) to three months (full program) and can be offered as part of your ongoing commitment to employee health and wellbeing. Contact us to discuss how this might look like for you.
Meditative Sound Journeys
Increasingly popular in workplaces, a meditative sound journey (also called a ‘sound bath’) is a deeply relaxing sonic experience designed to rebalance the nervous system, body, mind and emotions, and to alter our brainwave patterns in a positive way. In a typical sound bath, you are immersed in the soundscapes, resonances and rhythms of singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, monochord and drums that invite you on an inner journey of contemplation, deep rest and rejuvenation. Perfect for anyone who uses a lot of problem-solving and mental power to help create more space, clarity and stillness for a busy mind. Contact us and let’s have a chat.
Sound Yoga Nidras
A yoga nidra is an ancient guided ‘yogic sleep’ practice that allows you to rest profoundly between waking and dreaming states and to release stress from the body and the mind. Accompanied by soothing soundscapes, vibrations and frequencies (with singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, monochord, chants, etc.), you are guided through a body scan, breathwork, sensations awareness, and a visualisation, towards a state of inner stillness and peace. Perfect for anyone who wants to re-pattern stress-related habits with a tested and proven method that is gaining popularity in modern times. Yoga nidras are ideal for the end of a workday but can be practiced at anytime. Send us a message to learn more.
Workplace and Community Yoga
Offering yoga classes at work is a much appreciated and convenient way to look after the wellbeing of your employees and volunteers. A typical class consists of simple yoga postures, breathwork, a short meditation and deep relaxation. Classes can be arranged on a regular basis, or as a one-off during retreats or themed days (e.g. Mental Health Month in October). Popular classes include:
General yoga: great for anytime of the day and for all bodies and abilities
Chair yoga: a gentle, low-impact practice, suitable for people with reduced mobility
Yoga for community groups: e.g. the veteran community, Community Houses and wellbeing retreats
